Methodology & materials
As a part of our Quality Program The Amazon Spanish College offers a placement test to offer you the right level from the start. Our program is built on up-to-date modern teaching methodologies. All our courses include a text book and upon completion, students are given a certificate from The Amazon Spanish College.
Placement test
Before beginning courses at our school, students who have previous knowledge of the language will be tested to determine the appropriate course level if you are not a complete beginner.
Lesson materials
Each student, studying at least two weeks, will be given a Latin American-oriented text book that forms the basis of the course, in combination with other materials (e.g. articles, songs, grammar exercises, Latin American literature, CD). However, our materials have a support function only. Large parts of the study material are practical activities and exercises through which the students will learn to understand and speak Spanish quickly.
Methodology
Our program is built on up-to-date teaching methodologies. It combines communication and grammar, with a primary emphasis on the knowledge of basic grammar. The needs of the students function as the guideline for the best application of our methodology. The courses are student centered focusing on the needs and interests of the student.
Certificate
At the end of each course, students will receive an official certificate from the school that states the amount of course hours, the date and the course level completed. This certificate documents that the students has completed this level of study to a satisfactory level.
