How to get to Leticia

The easiest way to get to Leticia is to buy a flight ticket to Bogotá and include our Bogotá pick-up package. You can also book your flight ticket to Leticia and a hostel/hotel in Bogotá by yourself.

Most international flights arrive in Bogotá in the afternoon so you will need to stay one night in Bogotá and take the flight to Leticia next day. In case you take a flight that arrives in Bogotá by latest 11.30 am you will be able to travel to Leticia on the same day. Although taking a flight from Bogotá is the most common way of traveling to Leticia there are also other flight and boat connections.

Bogotá pick-up package
The Amazon Spanish College offers a Bogotá Starters Package for the convenience of our students. Our Bogotá agent picks up students from the airport and brings them to a nice and safe hostel for the night. Next day, students will be taken back to the airport for their flight to Leticia.

Upon request, extra days in Bogotá can be arranged for, e.g. to do the city tour and/or visit the famous Gold Museum. This package can be purchased with and without the local Leticia (one way or roundtrip) flight. A safe and pleasant start in Colombia!
