How do I get to Leticia?
To go to Leticia you need to take a flight to Bogotá. Usually it requires to stay one night in Bogotá. The flights for Leticia depart generally around 2 am in the afternoon. You can book and buy your flight ticket online with Aerorepublica, www.aerorepublica.com and book your own accommodation in Bogotá or you can choose our Bogotá pick up package and we will make these arrangements for you.
What can I expect upon arrival in Leticia?
A representative from The Amazon Spanish College will be at the airport with a sign with your name on it to take you to the college. If you do not see anyone, please wait another 15 minutes. If still no one shows up you can either phone us, or take a taxi directly to the school (do not pay more than US $ 3).
How does the Bogotá pick up package work?
When you arrive at the airport in Bogotá, you will be picked up by a representative of the College who will have a sign with your name on it. He will take you to a comfortable two star hotel. The next day, after breakfast, you will be taken back to the airport where you will pick up your flight ticket at the airline counter. To book the pick up package, we need the exact details of your flight to Bogotá, and your passport number. If there happens to be a delay, please inform us immediately. Please note that booking a roundtrip ticket is slightly cheaper than buying two one way tickets.
Can I book this pick up package for my way back home, too?
Yes, if you have the ticket back to Bogotá booked, you will take the flight to Bogotá, where someone will wait for you again to take you to the hotel. Next day our representative will pick you up again and take you to the airport. Please do not forget to give us the details of your departing flight from Bogotá.
